Apex Legal to join Pinnacle

The new Pinnacle consulting group, fresh from its Pinnacle, Opes and Athenian three-way merger, used the recent VANTAGE EMEA conference to announce that it is to acquire Apex Legal Consulting.

The Apex team, led by TRE and LexisNexis veteran Andrew Murray, will join Pinnacle in a significant boost to project management resources, with Andrew set to head up a team of 5. As well as looking to grow the numbers of
project staff over the next 12 months, he will also be focused on refining project methodologies to accelerate and de-risk both 3E and Intapp implementations.

Pinnacle’s Mike Bailey commented: “We’re now one of the world’s largest businesses focusing on the implementation and optimisation of legal enterprise applications, and project management is absolutely integral to effective delivery for clients.

From our client’s perspective, the projects we work on are large and complex. They want the risk in these projects reduced. They engage us to help reduce the technical risks; with Apex on board we can reduce the project risks.

We want to exploit the know-how in the group to continually review and refine how we do things; we’re keen to secure improvements in respect of time, cost, risk and performance, and thus underpin all our service offerings
with assured, advanced project management capability.
